The Guardians Of The Galaxy Soundtrack Is Where It’s At (+ Gift Card!)

Let me let you in on a little secret: I haven’t watched Guardians of the Galaxy. Crazy, right :O?

However, there’s one song that the trailer keeps playing and that I can’t get enough of: Hooked on A Feeling. In fact, every time the trailer comes on I sing along to the song–but end up missing what’s actually happening on the trailer.

You see, I rarely fall in love with a movie’s soundtrack; in fact, I can probably name a handful of soundtracks I thoroughly enjoy. And Guardians of The Galaxy is definitely one of them. (You’ll even spot some my faves from the soundtrack throughout this post!) I enjoy it so much, that just listening to the songs tells me I’d really like the movie once I watch it.

When my parents and I arrived to the U.S., the radio station we listened to the most was our local Oldies station because we were familiar with a lot of the songs on there.

Perhaps the best part, though, is that it also introduced us to a lot more songs we now love, such as Spirit in The Sky…

… Ain’t No Mountain High Enough…

… and the hilariously harsh I’m Not In Love, which I couldn’t embed for your listening pleasure as the option was disabled on every YT video of that song :(. (I did link to it there, though :).)

If you are and/or know a Guardians of the Galaxy SUPER fan, then you MUST go to Walmart as you’ll find everything–and I mean everything–you need to satisfy your cravings there. On the several times I’ve been, I came across pillowcases and backpacks. If that doesn’t strike your fancy, though, then there are also masks (of Rocket Raccoon!), figurines, posters, and even interactive toys:

The way the Guardians of the Galaxy merchandise is displayed at your local Walmarts may vary: Some have dedicated aisles; others have products scattered throughout a few different aisles; and yet others may have GG-specific displays near the Electronics section or the cash registers. So don’t distress because you will find that product you’re looking for.

Which brings me to my next point:
