If you didn’t think Pinterest* couldn’t get more fun, you’re soo wrong!
Regardless of whether you interact with the Pinterest app on your smartphone/tablet or your computer, you can’t deny it doesn’t get addicting… and fast.
But if you’ve ever wondered, for instance, how well a pin of yours did or which image to choose from within the “Pin It” bookmarklet, then I have news for you! I found the following amazeballs Pinterest tools I’m sure you’ll really enjoy as they not only enhance productivity (productivity on Pinterest sounds like an oxymoron, doesn’t it?) but make pinteresting a thousand times more fun–and a teeny bit more addicting :)
Here’s a brief overview of each [[followed by very own mini review]]:
- PinReach (formerly PinClout) is an analytics service that helps Pinterest users monitor trends and gauge their success on the site. [[Signed up but haven’t used it yet. Looking forward to it though!]]
- Pin A Quote is a bookmarklet that will allow you to easily pin any text you want from the web. [[Quite cool, but Pro version isn’t necessary.]]
- SpinPicks is a website that lets users browse the web for interesting, Pinterest-worthy images and pin them directly to whichever Pinboard they please. [[AWESOME.]]
- The website Pinerly helps streamline Pinterest browsing and posting with its easy-to-use dashboard interface. After you sync your Pinterest account with the website, you’ll be able “to locate other Pinterest users that are interested in the same topics, unfollow groups of pinners you no longer wish to follow, and keep your Pinterest stream focused,” in addition to letting users schedule pins throughout the day … [[Really cool so far]]
- Email app-maker and platform WiseStamp is the developer behind the useful Pinterest Email App. The app places a “Follow Me On Pinterest” button at the bottom of emails as part of the sender’s signature, which enables every email to become an encouragement for others to become followers on Pinterest. [[Personally, I kind of think this one is unnecessary since it’s super easy to add images and links to your signature. Contact me if you’d like to know how; I’ll post about it later on.]]
- Snapito! is a quick and simple way to get a full-page screenshot of whatever website you desire. It even has an option that allows you to pin a full or partial screenshot of the site straight to your Pinterest page. All you have to do is enter the website’s address, wait for Snapito! to generate a screenshot, and choose “Pin to Pinterest” or “Pin Full Page” from the pull-down menu next to the “Snap!” button. [[Didn’t sign up; I like to pin images from websites instead of actual website full-page screen shots.]]
Which do you think you’ll try? Which have you tried and liked/didn’t like? Any other suggestions? (Ooh and don’t forget to follow me on Pinterest too!)
